On Monday, May 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the D. Dodos Hall, 12 V. Irakleiou street, the Reading Group of the Laboratory for the Study of Democracy of the School of Political Sciences at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as part of the study of the work of the Italian historian Alessandro Portelli, From Red to Black: The Rightward Shift of a Working-Class Town, hosted Riki Van Boeschoten, historian and translator of the book, in an event entitled:

“The Political in Oral History”

She was joined by Dimitris Moutafidis and Dimitris Tsirimpas, members of the Reading Group, to discuss the central thematic axes and patterns of the political and ideological shifts explored in the book. The discussion was moderated by Kristi Karampatzaki, a member of the Reading Group.
